Our Story

We built the app we wished existed at 23.

EverWell started as a group text. Five friends, a shared Google Doc of Bible passages, and a lot of late-night conversations about why our faith felt thinner than it used to.

We wanted something quieter than most devotional apps. Shorter than a podcast. Smarter than a verse-of-the-day graphic. Playful where it could be. Reverent where it needed to be. So we started building.

The verse we come back to

"And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love."

— 1 Corinthians 13 : 13
How we got here

Three years, in five moments.

2023
A group text
Five friends start a Bible reading plan together, and a Google Doc that eventually has 400 comments.
2024
A small prototype
We build a rough prototype during a snowy week in January. Twelve of us use it for Lent. It doesn't fall apart.
2024
The first 1,000
Soft launch to our churches and a couple of campus ministries. A thousand users show up in six weeks.
2025
The Games Room
Bible Wordle ships on a Saturday night and gets shared in a dozen Instagram stories by Sunday morning.
2026
Today
94,000 readers open EverWell most mornings. We're building the journal redesign next.
The team

Four people, and a lot of coffee.

A tiny team with outsized care — plus a wider circle of pastors, writers, and advisors who shape what we ship.

What we believe

Four things we want to be clear about.

We are not a church.

EverWell is a tool. We point toward real congregations, real pastors, and real friendships — none of which live inside a phone.

We are not theologians.

We work with pastors and scholars across denominations. But we hold our opinions loosely and the gospel firmly.

We are not afraid of doubt.

Every morning of every life includes some. The app makes room for it instead of pretending it away.

We are not selling you something else.

No ads, no data brokering, no upsells disguised as features. A paid tier exists and always will.

Come build a quiet morning with us.
